About Us

We are a husband and wife duo, along with our two Boxer pups! We are a family of public servants/first responders and military vets. 

For the past few years, we have dedicated ourselves to making our cabin a beautiful vacation spot. With the help of friends, family, local contractors and, with our own sweat and even tears, we transformed this home into the little slice of heaven that The Brown Bear Cabin is today!

We visit as often as we can as we enjoy the quietness, peacefulness, coziness, and those amazing sunrises! We support local businesses and have met wonderful people, many of whom have become our friends! 

Having this cabin and hosting guests is truly a dream come true for us,  and we sincerely hope that our hard work, love and dedication shows when you stay with us.
